The IDF started a ground campaign into Gaza with a very clear mission and a Nation behind them. These words were broadcast to Israeli Soldiers as they were entering Gaza by their commander. "Your nation is behind you the terrorists from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad are ahead of you. I have trust in you and believe in your capabilities. Go ahead. Good luck. Over and out." It is true that the vast majority of Israelis are behind this move and no one is in doubt that it is a necessary operation to restore peace to the civilians of Israel. After many long and traumatic years of Israelis having to live with thousands of missiles being launched at them this move is long overdue.
